China’s Unitree have unveiled the mass-production version of their $16k G1 humanoid, having first been introduced in May this year.
From Superinnovators 20/08/24
The new video shows the 1.3-metre G1 – around the height of an eight-year-old – doing some new tricks including hopping on one leg, 360 spin, scissor jump and walking up and down stairs.
The company say this version has an upgraded performance and shows the final appearance.
Although no specific spec changes or shipping dates have been confirmed, the G1 appears to have the option of a hollow face as well as a solid shiny black panel as in May’s release.
