From Superinnovators 13/08/24
The device automates the rice cooking process, handling tasks from measuring and washing to cooking, with integrated storage for rice and water.
The cooker features an automatic washing system, ensuring the rice is clean and free from impurities before cooking, according to social media users who translated the Chinese video voiceover.
The WFZ4002 model connects to a mobile app that allows users to control it remotely, including starting and stopping the cooking process.
This remote functionality means users can have perfectly cooked rice ready for them when they return home from work or an outing.
The device is available on the Chinese e-commerce platform Taobao, priced at 4,299 RMB (approx. $599 USD).
A video showcasing its capabilities was shared on Instagram by MikeChinaVlog this week and has since gone viral with over 38k likes.
It shows a woman using the app and cooker step by step, including clips of the rice and water containers and the automatic raw rice dispensing mechanism inside the chamber.
The cooker appears to offer multiple cooking modes, catering to different types of rice, ensuring optimal results each time.
A similar rice cooker model is also available on Alibaba Express for £472 (approximately $603 USD), made by the Chinese brand Oloey.
The Oloey cooker features a 3.0-litre capacity, 1000W power rating and is certified for use in Europe.
This device’s washing system uses air bubbles, water, and negative pressure suction to clean the rice thoroughly.
A 1.5-metre drainage pipe allows wastewater to connect directly to a home plumbing system, ensuring easy disposal.
The cooker also features a square design, weighing 8.9 kilograms, with dimensions of 330 x 365 x 250 mm.
Both models offer next-level rice cooker automation that gadget lovers will be going wild for, but others will no doubt question the necessity of it.
