Skip, a US-based company, have introduced MO/GO powered trousers to assist with elevation challenges during hiking.

These trousers feature motors that augment the quadriceps and hamstring muscles, offering a 40% boost and reducing knee joint strain, according to the startup.
They are available for an eight-hour rental at $80 (£61) in the Western US and Canada or an early bird purchase price of $4,500 (£3,500).
