DJI, a Chinese UAV company, have conducted the first Everest drone delivery, achieving a new record by delivering supplies between base camp and camp 1 at 5,300 and 6,000 metres altitude respectively.

The DJI FlyCart 30 (FC30) drone demonstrated the ability to transport 15 kg of payload in 10 minutes, significantly reducing the risk and time associated with the Khumbu Icefall trek between the two camps.
