Nike launched a hands free Go FlyEase trainer in Feb 2021 which incorporates a hinge to make it easier to put on and take off.
The company began developing a hands free design in 2012 in response to a customer with cerebral palsy who asked them to make a shoe that was easier for people with disabilities to put on.
The first iteration, FlyEase, was launched in 2015, but didn’t feature a hinge.
The Go FlyEase is available worldwide today for $125.
