The paint’s standout feature is its ability to peel off as one stretchy sheet, making it well suited to individuals who want to frequently change their space without permanent commitment.
It’s biodegradable and eco-friendly with a lower carbon footprint than traditional interior paint, according to Glasst, the Columbian company behind it.
UnPaint works on various surfaces like glass, metal, and concrete, providing easy application and removal without damaging the underlying material.
However, it’s important to avoid application on textiles or damaged surfaces, as results may vary.
It’s designed for indoor spaces, offering up to 12 months of durability, and can be peeled off with no special tools.
The company say it’s free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ensuring a safer environment during use.
With more than 5000 colours available, UnPaint is aimed at homeowners, tenants, and artists seeking a temporary decorative solution.
Priced around $60 per gallon, UnPaint is more expensive than standard interior paint, which typically costs between $25 to $50 per gallon
