Sony have released a video of their prototype microsurgery assistance bot stitching up a corn kernel, driven remotely by a surgeon.
The team recently achieved a world first by successfully performing microvascular anastomosis (connecting two structures) using a surgical support robot that can automatically exchange instruments .
