French healthtech company Baracoda, founded in 2000, showcased gamification of tooth brushing through AR and a smart connected toothbrush at CES 2024, Las Vegas, this week.

The company have been collaborating with Colgate since 2016, helping to launch connected toothbrush named hum in 2020, which is powered by tech from Kolibree, and hum kids in 2021.

Hum kids is able to track its position in the mouth with 95% accuracy, provides AR games and analytics for parents through an app and costs $14.99.

It is unclear if the latest demo of hum kids at CES 2024 shows any upgrades on the launch product.
